CULINARY COURSES OR PROGRAMS

Culinary schools give you the option of choosing from various courses or programs.

Types of programs in Culinary Arts are:

1. Diploma & Certificate Program: Culinary courses Diploma & Certificate program duration is 1 month to 2 years. There is no prerequisite degree required to do this program. This program teaches students Pastry & Baking, Culinary Arts Hospitality, and Hotel & Restaurant Management.

2. Associate’s Program: Associate’s degree program duration is 9 months to 2 years. Prerequisite degrees required by students are high school diploma or GED. This program teaches students Food Science, Viticulture, Culinary Arts, and Culinary Management.

3. Bachelor's Program: Bachelor’s degree program duration is 4 years. Prerequisite degrees required by students are high school diploma or GED. This program teaches students Pastry & Baking, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, and Wine Studies.

4. Master's Program: Master’s degree program duration is 2 years. Prerequisite degree required by students is BA from an accredited university. This program teaches students Hospitality Management, Food Science, Food Studies, Nutrition / Dietetics, Gastronomy.

5. Doctorate Program: Doctorate degree program duration is 4 years to 6 years. Prerequisite degree required by students is BA from an accredited university. This program teaches students Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Studies.
